Description of Program This is a two year fellowship program involving both research and intensive clinical experience in laparoscopic and endourologic problems from the adrenal gland to the prostate. In addition to this clinical experience, time is available and encouraged for both clinical and laboratory research studies. The candidate who is accepted into this program will also have clinical volume of personal general urology patients as part of his/her appointment at the Cleveland Clinic at the Assistant Clinical Staff level. Yearly clinical volume Percutaneous procedures 150 Ureteroscopic procedures 500 ESWL procedures 100 Robotic procedures 450 Laparoscopic procedures 700 Bench space and animal lab facilities Bench space and animal lab facilities are available for research. This is both encouraged and expected during this time. Ph.D. to supervise research Appropriate research supervision is available. On campus housing A wide range of housing is available within five miles of the Cleveland Clinic ranging from newly renovated "loft" apartment housing in the re-established warehouse district, to classic apartments in Cleveland's most desirable east side suburbs including Cleveland Heights and Shaker Heights. Housing in Cleveland Heights and Shaker Heights also affords access to some of the best public schools in the Midwest. Fellowship staff Jihad H.
